Admission Requirements: We prefer prospective calmbirth® practitioners to have a background in Childbirth Education, Midwifery or as a Doula. Proficiency in language and literacy skills, acceptance of the principles underpinning calmbirth®, knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the birth process are required.

Applications are also taken from those wishing to attend the training who have no background in the above. However they are required to have completed Tertiary education in another field and attend the pre course education set down by calmbirth®.

Prior to enrolment, prospective participants are required to submit an application stating why they wish to participate in the course, attitudes towards using subconscious resources in the birth process and openness to new ways of learning.

Practitioner training courses will be limited to 20 students for each intake.
