Calmbirth® Classes at The SAN

Calmbirth classes are now being held at the SAN in Wahroonga.

We are now conducting the Calmbirth® course at Sydney Adventist Hospital, Wahroonga (the San). The classes are being facilitated by Louise Luscri & Janet Phillips.

Louise is a mother, midwife, author, childbirth educator and Calmbirth Educator since 2007.  Louise has been facilitating childbirth education since 2004 and has had over 600 couples in the Calmbirth classes in Neutral Bay. Louise currently works as a midwife in a Sydney Tertiary Maternity Unit and brings her wealth of her many years experience of working with women in labour and birth to her education sessions and what women and their partners can bring to create a positive birth experience. She will be teaching at the SAN and imparting her knowledge for you to create a calm birth.

Janet is a registered midwife who has worked in all areas of maternity, gradually moving more into education over the years.  Janet has taught childbirth education for around 20 years, assisted friends in their births as a support person and has two adult children.  After her introduction to Calmbirth through supporting a friend through an amazing birth experience, she was inspired to become a Calmbirth educator and has been running the course in Glenmore Park in Sydney's west for the past six years.  Janet's knowledge, experience and desire to empower expectant couples will encourage you to feel calm and confident in your own unique birth journey.
