I speak to other women who are amazed that I didn't have to use drugs during labour- and the thing that gets to me is that I'm not an amazing person- no more so than anyone else. I'm just your average person- which surely means that having a natural birth is very achievable- natural and normal. Yes- it's hard work, but isn't that to be expected? And ultimately the reward is so great that it is so completely worth the effort.  Read full story
